Extend yourself

We always hear the expression life is short. If we think about it, it is indeed true... that life is short. Short in the sense that a minute pass will never be back again. Time moves on, and as much as we hate to admit, we are growing older every second of every day. We wish we can do things all over again, but we can't. We may always have the chance to try to make past mistakes right, but we can never turn back time.

Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.
